Laurinburg Police capture stolen check suspect

LAURINBURG, NC (WMBF) - Laurinburg Police have captured a man who allegedly entered the Scotland Crossing and Northside Square Food Lion on November 25 and presented a stolen check for payment, according to a Facebook post from the department.

Kyle Ruben Kendall, 31, also entered the Laurinburg Walmart Supercenter and presented another stolen check for payment that belonged to the same victim, police say.

According to Laurinburg Police, Kendall has warrants on file for felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny, and felony obtaining property by false pretenses (three counts).
