One charged after crashing into Darlington deputy cruiser

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - The Darlington County Sheriff's Office charged one person Thursday night with DUI and child endangerment after crashing into a deputy cruiser.

The DCSO car was rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver. Highway Patrol is charging the suspect with DUI 2nd, DUS 3rd and child endangerment. The suspect also had a small child in the vehicle, according to the DCSO Facebook post.  

The suspect, Keith Edward Vinson, was placed in the Darlington County Detention Center on January 1, according to Sheriff Wayne Byrd.
