Two wanted for assault and 2nd degree battery by Horry County deputies

HORRY COUNTY (WMBF) - Horry County deputies need your help tracking down two men wanted for assault and 2nd degree battery.

The first suspect is 17-year-old Ryver West. An Horry county police report states on Christmas morning, about 5 a.m., an officer responded to the 5100 block of Highway 65 in Conway about an assault. The victim stated she and West got into an argument the day before and that he hit her in the face with his fist. The report also states the victim suspects West stole 20 hydrocodone pills from the victim. West's last known address is on Highway 65 in Conway.


33-year-old Richard Fleisch Jr. is also wanted for assault and 2nd degree battery. The Horry County police report states that on December 12th, Fleisch Jr. hit the victim with a flashlight knocking out his teeth and cutting his lip because the victim was allegedly texting Fleisch's girlfriend. His last known address is on Highway 544 in Myrtle Beach.

    One person has died after an accident on U.S. 17 South early Saturday morning. According to Jed Jones with South Carolina Highway Patrol, a pick-up truck was traveling on U.S. 17, when it ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned around 1:55 Saturday morning. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

    Conway Pastor Phillip Miles was arrested Thursday by TSA for carrying an unloaded pistol into Myrtle Beach International Airport. According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center’s website, Miles was charged with carrying weapons into restricted places and was released on $500.00 bond.
