MYRTLE BEACH (WMBF) – Sewer maintenance will begin for residents who live between 32nd Avenue North and Pinewood Road, from Kings Highway to Little River Road, beginning the week of January 4.
With Municipal Sales, the City of Myrtle Beach has contracted a sewer root control company, to perform the maintenance, according to the Myrtle Beach City Government Facebook page. Maintenance activity is expected take less than two weeks.
Sewer lines will be treated to control the growth of roots and maintain operation of the sewer system. If sewer lines are on private property the contractor may be required to access residents' property. In the event a crew member from Municipal Sales needs to access you property, someone will be available to provide identification.
