Tracking back to severe weather in 2015

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The team at WMBF saw plenty of weather changes in 2015. From freezing pipelines, to hurricanes and floods, we've all been impacted in some ways that will never be forgotten.

In January and February, temperatures reached freezing. Residents were asked to take precaution and stay off iced roads and bridges.

Following freezing weather, spring quickly approached. It wasn't long before subtropical storm Ana found it's way to Myrtle Beach. Ana was the first named storm of the 2015 Hurricane season that developed off the Carolina coast.

Crews were in the fields providing coverage and instant alerts.

The biggest weather impact was the floods of 2015. Coming up on Tuesday, December 29 at 5:30 p.m., we will air coverage from some of the biggest moments from that time, along with interviews from the anchors explaining how they felt in those moments.
