WMBF FIRST ALERT FORECAST: More rain and record warmth possible today

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) A very wet start to this Wednesday. Lots of rain and a few thunderstorms for the morning commute. We get a lull in the action before another lines of showers moves through this afternoon. The warmth continues with highs in the mid 70s.

We see the bulk of the rain move out for Christmas Eve but a few showers remain possible through the day. the warmth reaches its peak Christmas Eve and Christmas day with highs pushing 8- inland and mid to upper 70s on the beaches. A little bit more sunshine is expected for Friday as well.

We remain dry through the weekend with a few peaks of sunshine but the temperatures remain highs. Well into the mid to upper 70s across the area. Enjoy it, another round of rain moves in for Monday and Tuesday as we see temperatures stay above average near record territory.
