MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - On December 11, Directors from Grand Strand Medical Center wrapped gifts for children chosen from The Caring Tree in the hospital cafeteria.

Staff at Grand Strand Medical purchased "wish list" items that the children wanted, needed, and liked to read.

Grand Strand Health CEO Mark Sims said, "It is important of us to step up and help our community in times of need and right now, it's children who need our help."

More than 65 children will receive gifts from Santa's Helpers this holiday.
