DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) - The Darlington Police Department received a delivery from Kierra McCall Monday with an entire vehicle load of toys for kids for Christmas.

The police department posted on their Facebook, "She is a very sweet girl who happens to be a girl scout and just out of the kindness of her heart does this to help less fortunate people than herself. Young people like this restore my faith in humanity. Helping others is her passion. So I along with the Darlington Fire Chief, new mayor, mayor pro-tem as well as former SC representative Nielson would like to encourage others to do the same."

Any unwrapped toys will be accepted at the Darlington Police Department or the City Fire Department to be part of the Darlington Fire Department toys for children program.

"It is our honor to help the Fire Department to continue to fund this program," said Chief Cavanaugh and Chief Watson.
