Update: MB Police investigate reported shooting Saturday near Spivey Avenue

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach Police Officers are investigating a drive-by shooting that was reported near Spivey Ave. and King Street Saturday afternoon, according to Lt. Crosby. 

Crosby said officers responded to reports of shots fired around 4 p.m. and haven't identified the victim.

Police reports said the suspect car is dark in color, possibly black or charcoal gray, and possibly a late model Chevy Impala.

One witness told police one of the people in the car was a white female driver with black hair and a black male passenger. Other witnesses told police a dark four-door Sedan was driving in the area at high speeds. It’s unknown if this vehicle is related to the shooting, according to police.

Officers were able to recover bullets possibly shot from the gun near the curb next to King Street and Spivey Avenue. 

Police said no victims have come forward, they are investigating at this time.
