7 men arrested on federal gun, drug charges in Darlington Co.

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - On Thursday, December 10, seven men were arrested on federal weapons and drug charges in Darlington County, according to the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

The Darlington County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit, along with the ATF and the Hartsville City Police Department, conducted an operation in Darlington County.

The following men were arrested, according to officials:

  • Andrew Joseph Boan, a 31 year old white male, of Romance Drive Darlington, was arrest on Federal Weapons Charge. 
  • Kadeem Bragg, a 24 year old black male, of Weaver Street Darlington, was arrested on Federal Weapons Charges and Federal Drug Charges. 
  • Cobie Osmond Bell, a 34 year old black male, of Broad Street Darlington, was arrested on Federal Drug Charges.
  • Kevin Nettles, a 39 year old black male, of Juleswood Road Darlington, was arrested on Federal Drug Charges.
  • Brandon Sherord Copeland, a 28 year old black male, of Isaac Lane Darlington, was arrested on Federal Weapons Charges and Federal Drug Charges.
  • Alvin Edmund Agbo, a 35 year old black male, of Cashawa Street Darlington, was arrested on Federal Drug Charges.
  • Richard Eugene Robinson, a 44 year old black male, of Hunter Drive Hartsville, was arrested on Federal Weapons Charges

    The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is on scene of a fatal shooting on Germantown Place, according to Captain Cliff Arnette. Details are limited at this point in the investigation, but Arnette confirms one fatality. The shooting happened Saturday afternoon, and the investigation is ongoing.

    One person has died after an accident on U.S. 17 South early Saturday morning. According to Jed Jones with South Carolina Highway Patrol, a pick-up truck was traveling on U.S. 17, when it ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned around 1:55 Saturday morning. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

     A house fire has temporarily shut down Myrtle Avenue in Pawley’s Island. Pawley’s Island Police confirm a house fire at 350 Myrtle Avenue, and say the road will be closed for a while. There is a house fire at 350 Myrtle Ave. Street will be closed for a while between the causeways.
