HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man for a robbery at a Scotchman convenience store Wednesday morning just off Highway 17 Bypass near Socastee Boulevard, according to an Horry County Police official.
The store on Port Drive was robbed at about 5:40 a.m., according to Lt. Raul Denis. No one was hurt during the robbery, but the suspect was acting peculiar in the store, then brandished a rock and threatened the store clerks for money. He left with a small amount of cash.
Horry County Police investigated and quickly apprehended Randall Clayton Joyner, of Socastee. He is charged with one count of armed robbery and is in custody at the Horry County Detention Center.
