Holiday on the Boardwalk events for all ages

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The 2015 Holiday on the Boardwalk is here. Live music, entertainment, camel rides and more offered for everyone of all ages to enjoy. 

The Holidays on the Boardwalk schedule from Nov 28-Jan 3 includes: 

Saturday -  December 12, 2015

  • 12:00-6:00 pm- Live Music and Entertainment on stages. 
  • Ripley's Ruckus Drum Line in front Ripley's Museum on the corner of 9th and Ocean Blvd                                          
  • 12:00-4:00 pm - Camel & the Polar Express Train Rides, Hi-Striker Game on 9th Ave N 
  • 12:00-4:00 pm – Santa Clause on the Boardwalk 
  • 12:00-6:00 pm - Mrs. Claus, the Elves, Coca Cola Bear & your favorite Super Heroes & Winter Princesses.
  • 1:00 pm – Hand Bell Choir in front of Fun Plaza on the Boardwalk
  • 3:30-4:30 – Christmas Potpourri performance on 9th Ave N on the Oceanfront Stage 
  • 3:30-5:30 pm- Christmas DJ in Plyler Park 
  • 6:00-8:00 pm- Christmas Movie in Plyler Park with popcorn and hot chocolate 

Saturday - December 19, 2015 

  • 12:00-6:00 pm- Live Music and Entertainment on stages.

  • 5:30-6:30- White Christmas with Boardwalk Elvis on the Oceanfront Stage at 9th Ave N
  • 5:00-9:00 pm - Community Candlelight Caroling in Plyler Park, Nativity scene and program, scavenger hunt, hot chocolate and cookies.   

December 26, 2015 through Jan. 2, 2016 

  • Daily- Ripley's Ruckus Drum Line in front Ripley's Museum on the corner of 9th and Ocean Blvd                                          
  • Daily 12:00-4:00 pm– Camel Rides & Polar Express Train Rides & Hi-Striker Game at 9th Ave N
  • Daily 12:00-6:00 pm- Characters- Elves, your favorite Super Heroes and Winter Princesses!
  • Saturdays only- 12:00-6:00 pm- Live Music and Entertainment on stages 

Every Sunday 5:30 - White Christmas with Boardwalk Elvis on the "Oceanfront Stage" at 9th Ave N

    The Florence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on Jones Road in Olanta Saturday night, according to Major Michael Nunn with FCSO. The investigation is ongoing, but Nunn says it may be accidental.

     The Surfside Beach town administrator will keep their job, after a special town council meeting, held this morning. Four of the seven council members organized the meeting on Friday to discuss if Town Administrator Micki Fellner should be dismissed from her job for what some say is violating duties.
