HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A person is in police custody following a police chase that ended at Sandygate Village on Osceola Street in Myrtle Beach Monday afternoon, according to Horry County police.

Lt. Raul Denis said the pursuit started on Seaboard Street after the car failed to stop for a traffic stop.

The pursuit was not far, but the vehicle struck another car, disabling the suspect’s vehicle car.

Lt. Denis added there was a short foot chase with the one person who was driving the car.

The suspect was caught and will be charged Tuesday after warrants are signed on and served.

The front of the Infinity G-35 sedan was banged up with airbags deployed inside. There were tire marks all over the street, according to the WMBF News crew that was on scene Monday afternoon.
