This week after we get together with friends and family, recognize how much we have to be thankful for, and eat way too much…

The shopping frenzy begins.

Black Friday is filled with crazy deals for those crazy enough to battle crowds, lines and sometimes the weather.

I think it’s a great tradition and a great boost for the economy.  Along with plotting out your Black Friday plan of attack…make sure you focus on our local businesses as well.   They are so important to our community and our economy.

They provide jobs, pay taxes and attract tourists to our area.  But even more…they bring character to our neighborhoods.

Happy Thanksgiving.  Eat, drink and spend money at our local stores and restaurants.  We have some great ones around here and we need to make sure they continue to thrive.
