(WMBF) – Friday is a great night to enjoy dinner at your favorite restaurant, but before you go, take a look at this week's Restaurant Scorecard.
Last week we told you about the Bagel Factory, on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. They received a score of 79 when visited by the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
DHEC inspectors noticed a lot of maintenance issues during their visit. The Bagel Factory owner told us the score was a result of projects in need of being updated and fixed in the interior of the store and that employees are constantly trained to DHEC standards.
This week when inspectors paid The Bagel Factory a visit and they got close to a perfect score of 99.
It was not all good news. When health inspectors went to Pawleys Island, Landolfi's Italian Pastry Shop got an 88 and Pawleys Island Tavern got an 84.
In the Grand Strand, the Caravelle Motel Dinning Room also scored an 88.
Restaurants with better scores are Taco Bell, on Socastee Boulevard in Myrtle Beach and Burger Fi, on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. Both restaurants received a 99 from D-HEC.
