Runoff election held for Darlington City Council, Mayor of Darlington races

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) – Two runoff elections were held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 for the three open seats on Darlington City Council and for the Mayor of Darlington race.

The Darlington County Elections and Registrations Office says the votes will be certified on Thursday, November 19, and total vote counts may change.

The following are the unofficial election results for the Darlington City Council race from the Darlington County Elections and Registrations Office:

  • Carolyn Bruce 893
  • Bryant Gardner 840
  • John Milling 846
  • Diane Sigmon 842

The following are the unofficial election results for the Mayor of Darlington race from the Darlington County Elections and Registrations Office:

  • Gloria Hines 814
  • Jim Stone 814

    MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has granted individual assistance to several counties, according to Congressman Tom RIce. In a Facebook post from the Congressman, it is said: Dillon and Marlboro have been granted Public Assistance, in addition to Horry and Marion.
