2015 Holidays on the Boardwalk scheduled November 28 - January 3

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The 2015 Holidays on the Boardwalk in Myrtle Beach is scheduled from November 28 through January 3. Activities during the event include camel rides, Polar Express train rides, and live entertainment. 

Below is a list of scheduled events. 

November 28 

Family Activities at 9th Avenue N. and Ocean Blvd., and on the Oceanfront Stage

•    Camel rides, the Polar Express train rides, and Hi Striker Game from 12:00 p.m. -4:00 pm.
•    Ripley’s Ruckus Drum Line on the hour in front Ripley’s Museum. Receive a discounted admission if you bring an odd ornament. Children receive              tickets for $1 if they bring their report card. 
•    3:30-4:30 – Christmas Potpourri performance

Lighting of the Boardwalk on the I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park

•    Mrs. Claus, the Elves, & your favorite Super Heroes & Winter Princesses from 12:00 p.m. –until. 
•    The Lighting Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m.
•    Pamela Cannon-Cook with Next Level Showcase Talents from 5:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
•    Santa arrives on his Harley Davidson with the Grinch causing his mayhem at 6:30 p.m.
•    Lighting of the Boardwalk with Ripley’s Ruckus Drum Line and Master of Ceremonies Ed Piotrowski - WPDE Meteorologist at 7:00 p.m. followed by            Carolina Vocals from 7:15 p.m. -8:15 p.m.
•    Special performance from Charity Elise serving free hot chocolate and cookies at 8:00 p.m.

December 5

Along the Boardwalk

•    Live Music and Entertainment on I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park and on the Oceanfront Stage on 9th Ave N. from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
•    Ripley’s Ruckus Drum Line in front Ripley’s Museum on the corner of 9th and Ocean Blvd from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
•    Camel Rides & the Polar Express Train Rides, Hi-Striker Game on 9th Ave N from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
•    SkyWheel Winter Wonderland from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. There will be activities for kids and they fly free with one paying adult.
•    Santa Clause along the Boardwalk from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
•    Mrs. Claus, the Elves, & your favorite Super Heroes & Winter Princesses from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
•    Santa Paws Doggie Costume contest benefiting the Humane Society in Plyler Park from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Rain Date Dec 12)

    Two adults were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a house fire on Main Street in Conway Tuesday. According to tweet from the Horry County Fire Department, firefighters from their department and the City of Conway Fire Department responded to the fire and brought it under control.
