Two men arrested in connection to shooting at 41 Grocery in Marion Co.

MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two men were arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in connection to Monday’s shooting at 41 Grocery near Mullins.

Kelik Fling, age 22, of Mullins, is charged with attempted murder, possession of weapon during commission of a violent crime, four counts of first degree assault and battery, malicious injury to personal property greater than $2,000 less than $10,000 and discharging firearm into vehicle while occupied, according to a news release from the MCSO.

Kendel Gerald, age 18, of Galivant's Ferry, is charged with accessory after the fact to a felony.

MCSO Deputies responded to a call on November 16, 2015, about a shooting at 41 Grocery located at 4135 South Hwy 41.

After further investigation, it was discovered there had been a fight between two individuals when another subject began to shoot.  One male suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder. 

The release states the victim was in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was not cooperating with Law Enforcement Officers.
