MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Thousands of people turned out for the "Trump for President" rally that was held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center on Tuesday evening.
"There is so much love. People want to take our country back and we want it to be great again," Donald Trump said.
The crowd was excited and supporters flooded the center holding signs with Trump's campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again."
Trump brought his family to the stage and thanked them for their support. "The happiest people are the people that have great families," Trump explained.
When it comes to immigration, Trump said, "We're going to build the wall…a real wall." He also said when he is elected he will send the Syrian refugees back.
The crowd cheered Trump when he asked who would be the best at the economy. "I will be the greatest jobs president that God ever created," Trump said. "We have a problem in this country … we are going to bring our jobs back from China, Japan, Vietnam, Brazil." He added he was going to win the Hispanic vote because they know he would bring jobs back.
Trump explained he did not understand why President Barack Obama refuses to say radical Islamic terrorists when speaking of terrorist attacks and the recent attacks in Paris. He stated if the people in Paris would have had guns, it would have "been a whole different ballgame," during his pro-gun arguments. He called President Obama a "divider." He said he is "going to be a unifier."
He called 70 percent of the press "dishonest" and spoke about recent CNN coverage of his campaign.
Trump thanked the police working the event and spoke about the negative police outlook in the country.
"Obamacare… we will repeal and replace," Trump said.
He also stated he loves our veterans and that he would take care of them.
Trump also spoke about the Middle East. He said he has been saying for some time "to hit the oil and keep it." He added, "We can take care of ISIS, if we have the right people."
He also said he supports waterboarding, and that he was told we would not have been able to get Osama bin Laden if it were not for it.
