Lowcountry Redfish Cup Championship coming to Georgetown

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The Lowcountry Redfish Cup Championship will launch from the Carroll Ashmore Campbell Marine Complex, on the Sampit River, on November 13 through 14.

Anglers from across the Carolinas and Georgia are expected to participate in the two-day tournament.

Boat launches are at dawn and weigh-ins begin at 3:30 p.m., on both days, and are open to the public.

Although only anglers who qualified for the tournament are allowed to fish in the event, spectators are encouraged to come.

The grand prize winner will receive a $35,000 boat package that includes a custom 2015 East Cape Skiffs Caimen, powered by Mercury Marine, on a custom Ramlin trailer.
