FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Traffic safety checkpoints will be conducted by the Twelfth Circuit Law Enforcement Network at various locations in Florence and Marion Counties throughout the month of November.
The operation is concentrated on preventing motor vehicle accidents and detecting and enforcing motor vehicle violations, including driving under the influence, according to a news release from the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
The Twelfth Circuit LEN is comprised of all law enforcement agencies in Florence and Marion Counties plus State Constables.
The South Carolina Department of Public Safety sponsors the Twelfth Circuit LEN.
This is the fourth year that the Florence County Sheriff's Office has hosted the LEN operations.
