FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Florence County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) arrested Antronn Denyell Barr, on October 29, after an extended undercover narcotics investigation, conducted as a result of numerous citizen complaints.

Investigators discovered approximately 130 bags of heroin along with items used to cut and package heroin for sale, and an amount of currency, according to a press release from the FCSO.

According to specially-trained FCSO narcotics investigators, Barr sold heroin to a confidential informant on or around October 19.

Based on information from narcotics investigators, an arrest warrant was issued for Barr and a search warrant was issued for his residence, according to the release.

In the release, Sheriff Kenny Boone stresses the importance of citizen involvement concerning narcotics investigations. “We urge the public to get involved in helping us get drug dealers off the street,” Boone said.

The investigation is still ongoing and Barr is being held at the Florence County Detention Center pending a bong hearing.
