MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The first annual Simply Pink Luncheon will be held at Simply Southern Smokehouse in Myrtle Beach, on October 29, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. People who are currently living with or have lived with breast cancer will receive a free lunch compliments of the restaurant and One Stop Party Shop will provide decorations.
The luncheon's purpose is to allow guests the opportunity to fellowship with others who understand their experiences and to share their stories.
Anne Johnson, a woman who shared her breast cancer journey on the third season of Welcome to Myrtle Manor, will host the event and Careteam+, a health care nonprofit, will have information available for guests.
