Veterans Ride for Free with Coast RTA on November 11

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – In honor of Veteran’s Day, Coast RTA will allow all Veterans and active military to ride their choice of routes for free all day, on November 11, in both Horry and Georgetown Counties.

Valid routes for the free fare day include:

  • No. 7 – Conway to Myrtle Beach
  • No. 10 – Myrtle Beach Connector
  • No. 15 - North and No. - 15 South – Choice of routes along Ocean Boulevard from 82nd Avenue North to Market Common
  • No. - 16 and No. - 16 Express (Georgetown routes)

Fixed routes on the Coast RTA schedule cost $1.50 per ride for adults, $.75 per ride for both senior and disabled citizens, and children ages 6 and younger are free.
