What's being done to stop legal money laundering in SC

TONIGHT AT 6PM – WMBF News brought you an in-depth investigation into the legal loophole that’s ending millions in dirty money from South Carolina overseas to fund illegal activity.

“It happens when drug cartels find a state that welcomes their kind of business practice,” says David Klugh, who returned to Myrtle Beach to continue this investigation.

Tonight at 6 p.m., we’re finding out what’s being done to close the loophole.

“This industry, today, is totally unregulated,” says Rep. Alan Clemmons.

Tune in tonight at 6 p.m. for a WMBF News special follow-up investigation into stopping the flow of dirty money.
