MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) High pressure is in control and will remain in control throughout the week. We're going to continue to see a northeast wind funnel in cooler air into the area today and tonight. When you add a light breeze, clear skies and cool temperatures together you get frost!
That's what we're expecting in some areas near the border belt and in the Pee Dee overnight. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s by the start of the day on Monday. You will definitely want to bundle up everywhere though. Even along the beaches, temperatures to start us off will be in the low 40s.
With the northeast wind continuing until Tuesday, we can expect Monday's high to be very similar to today. Barely breaking that 60 degree mark.
So bring in the plants and have the frost scraper ready. Tis' the season!
