MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – TripAdvisor has announced the best restaurants in the United States and all over the world from millions of reviews and opinions.

The TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice award winners were chosen through a process that took into account the quantity and quality of reviews for restaurants around the world collected over a 12-month period, according to a news release from TripAdvisor.

The top 5 restaurants in the U.S. include:

  1. Bouley in New York City, New York
  2. Alinea in Chicago, Illinois
  3. Le Bernadin in New York City, New York
  4. Uchi in Austin, Texas
  5. Halls Chophouse in Charleston, South Carolina

The top 5 restaurants in the world include:

  1.  Martin Berasategui in Lasarte, Spain
  2.  Europea in Montreal, Canada
  3.  Maison Lameloise in Chagny, France
  4.  Adam’s in Birmingham, England
  5.  Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham, England
