MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The Myrtle Beach City Government has announced the demolition of the former " Bunny Ranch" will take place this week. The former site located on US-501 and Third Avenue South, will be demolished at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 14.

The Bunny Ranch was on sale for quite some time before being purchased by Sea Captain’s Investors, the same company which owns its namesake, Sea Captain’s House restaurant on Ocean Boulevard.

The City posted on their Facebook page: "Join us on Wednesday as we say 'Bye, bye Bunny Ranch.' We will bunny hop around, take some photos and participate in a 'count-down to demo' with city officials!"

Limited parking is available on-site, so park in one of the nearby locations and walk to the corner.
