HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Governor Nikki Haley will be holding a news conference at the Horry County Emergency Management Division this afternoon to discuss flooding from the Waccamaw River in Conway and other areas of the county.

The conference is scheduled to begin sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.., and will include an update on the Waccamaw River flooding, and other flooding events around Horry County. Gov. Haley surveyed the Waccamaw River flooding from a Black Hawk helicopter Wednesday afternoon along with Horry County Chairman Mark Lazarus and Horry County Emergency Management Director Randy Webster.
