FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Disaster aid may be available to individuals who have sustained losses or damages from the recent flooding, according to SCEMD and FEMA.
Florence County was added to the presidential disaster declaration for individual assistance on Wednesday following damage assessment by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Homeowners, renters and business owners who have been affected by recent flooding are now able to register with the FEMA for disaster assistance, according to a news release from the Florence County Emergency Management Division.
Florence County residents can register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-3362 or (TTY) 800-462-7585. If you use Video Relay Services, call 800-621-3362. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 24 hours a day until further notice. Multilingual operators are available.
