Darlington Co. remains under 10 p.m. curfew; prepares to assess damages

DARLINGTON, SC (WMBF) – Darlington County is still under a curfew from 10 p.m. Monday night to 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

Darlington County Emergency Management Division will be sending out teams to do preliminary damage assessments around Darlington County.

All workers will have County identification and will NOT be asking to enter any residences.

The DCSO Facebook page also states the Lamar shelter closed at 1 p.m. on Monday.

SCDOT reports as of 8 p.m. Monday night the following road closures:

  • East Lynches River Road from Joye Road to W. Saint Pauls Road
  • Law Plantation Road from US-52 (N. Governor Williams Highway) to S-580(Pinedale Drive)
  • Lawson Road from City limit to Azalea
