Three area players are headed to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas in December. The lone Grand Strand product is Conway wide receiver Bryan Edwards. The Gamecock commit has rounded up 732 receiving yards and seven touchdowns so far this season.
Joining him on offense will be Dillon lineman Adonis Sealy. The lone defensive player from the area to make the team is Datavious Wilson, a linebacker from Hartsville.
Don Poole from Lamar is also on the staff, who will join the South Carolina squad as the defensive line coach.
The Shrine Bowl is set to be played Saturday, December 19th at Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg.
