Hartsville man charged with manufacturing, distributing methamphetamine

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A Hartsville man was arrested after the Darlington County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit located 25 individual meth lab pots when they executed a search warrant at 820 Green Pastures Drive in Hartsville on Thursday, according to a news release from DCSO.

William David Cagle, age 52, of Green Pastures, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and three counts of distribution of methamphetamine, the release states.

SLED and the Darlington County Fire District assisted the DCSO at the scene.

This case remains an ongoing investigation with the DCSO and additional arrests and charges are forthcoming.
