Catalytic converters stolen from school buses at Creek Bridge High School in Marion

MARION COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Creek Bridge High School in Marion County fell victim to theft this past weekend when two school buses were vandalized and three catalytic converters were taken from the buses, according to Major Brian Wallace of the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Major Wallace said the school bus drivers learned that the catalytic converters had been removed after detecting the buses were not running properly.

Deputies with MCSO are still investigating the incident.
