Two Conway women arrested for attempted murder in Loris armed robbery

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Two Conway women have been arrested in connection to an armed robbery and shooting that occurred at a home on McNabb Shortcut Road in Loris on Sunday, September 20, according to a news release from the Horry County Police Department.

Sabrina Alford, age 21, is charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. She was arrested on September 22.

Kimberly Hathway, age 26, was arrested Wednesday, September 30. She is being taken to the Horry County Detention Center, where she will be charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

When HCPD officer responded to the residence in reference to an armed robbery and shooting, the victim told officers he had been cut during an altercation with several suspects.

The victim said the suspect came to his house to borrow money but attempted to take his wallet out of his hand in a robbery, the release states.

During the robbery, the suspects fired shots but no one was hit.

This case remains under investigation by the HCPD.
