MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation reported an accident on 501 Southbound causing a lane closure.

According to SCDOT, the left lane was closed on US-501 Southbound at Carolina Forest Boulevard and West Perry Road. South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the accident at 4:49 p.m. Saturday.

Kevin Kretz with the SCDOT said a white truck pulled out of the Toyota dealership, tried to merge into a lane and was hit by a black car.

No injuries are reported, but delays were in effect.

SCDOT said all lanes are now re-open.
