Sketch released of suspect believed connected to Myrtle Beach shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Police Department is looking for a suspect believed to be involved in a shooting incident that occurred at 1207 3rd Avenue South earlier this month, according to the MBPD Facebook page.

On September 5, officers responded to the location of Fajitas Mexican Restaurant in hopes of finding a crime scene in reference to a possible shooting that took place in the parking lot, according to a police report from the MBPD.

Officers received a phone call from dispatch saying Horry County Police were at the Conway Emergency Room regarding a shooting victim who stated he was shot in the arm in the parking lot of 1207 3rd Avenue South.

Detectives were notified of the incident and went to the hospital to interview the victim and to the incident location.

The business was closed when officers arrived and the scene was processed by Crime Scene officers.

The incident remains under investigation by the MBPD.
