Halloween brings fun events to Grand Strand and Pee Dee areas

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – October is filled with Halloween themed events for both children and adults to enjoy. Below is a list of events in the Grand Strand and Pee Dee areas.

MYRTLE BEACH:

  • Trick or Treat at Broadway at the Beach, on October 31, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.broadwayatthebeach.com.
  • Boardwalk Fright Nights takes place at Boardwalk and Boulevard, every Friday and Saturday at dusk, from October 3 through November 1. For more information visit www.myrtlebeachdowntown.com.
  • FREE Howl-at-the-Moon Concerts in Plyler Park, from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. On October 25 “Nickel Bag of Funk” will take the stage and on October 31 “Low Country Soul” will perform. For more information visit www.myrtlebeachdowntown.com.

    GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) - Georgetown Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help after a man was shot early Sunday morning outside LoLo's Bar in Andrews. According to a report released by GCSO, a 30-year-old man was wounded around 5 a.m. Sunday morning and transported to the hospital for treatment.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at (843)-546-5102.
