13-year-old runaway girl from Pawleys Island found safe

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WMBF) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says the 13-year-old runaway juvenile reported Tuesday morning has been found safe and unharmed.

Georgetown County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report of a juvenile female runaway approximately 8:00 a.m. on September 22. 

13-year-old Alexandra “Lexi” Dawn Vinson, had last been seen at 3:00 a.m. on September 22. 

At about 1:30 p.m., the Myrtle Beach Police Department notified GCSO that she was located at the Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach.

    A man’s car was reportedly stolen at gunpoint Thursday morning following an altercation with another individual. According to a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report, officers responded to the 900 block of White Street where they met with the 23-year-old victim.
