MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach Police Officers responded to a call at Dollar General on 700 S Kings Hwy Friday regarding counterfeit bills that were received by another worker without them knowing, according to police reports.
One store worker said that when he was checking money he found two counterfeit twenty dollar bills. Reports say the worker said he didn't know when the counterfeit bills were put in the register and was unable to look back at the video to see who gave the victim the counterfeit bills.
Officers observed the bills and noticed several things wrong with them.
