CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Coastal Carolina is presenting free week for non-credit courses for future CCU students, and anyone who has an interest attending CCU. Courses will include everything from art to history, and photography to foreign languages.
Those interested will get the chance to explore the courses and clubs planned for the fall/winter term of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), CCU's non credit program during free week Wednesday, Sept. 9-September 15. Below are the upcoming dates and locations.
- Georgetown Education Center: Monday, September 14.
- Coastal Science Center: Tuesday, September 15.
During the free week, prospective students can sample the lifelong learning program for free and explore more than 200 non credit classes, workshops, special interest clubs and travel opportunities, according to a CCU news release.
Topics will include: Computer technology, art and photography, foreign languages, history and government, literature and writing, music, theater and film, personal growth and skill development, philosophy and religion, science and nature, and low country history, culture and nature excursions.
OLLI memberships are also available for $20 and include discounts to special programs at area museums such as: Brookgreen Gardens, Franklin G. Burroughs, musical theaters, wellness centers and more.
