Typical Summer-like Pattern Continues....
A more typical pattern of late summer is setting up over us right now. Lots of heat, lots of humidity and the chance for afternoon storms. Today with features highs in the upper 80s on the coast and low 90s inland with the threat for rain towards the afternoon.
Thursday is basically a copy and paste forecast for today. A few changes come by the end of the week into the weekend where we see the threat for rain increase as we track a cold front pushing towards the area. Highs remain steady in the mid to upper 80s across the area through this period.
It's not until the second half of the weekend and into early next week where we dry out and our temperatures actually reflect the passage of a cold front. Highs will be in the low 80s and lows will be very comfortable in the lot to mid 60s inland and upper 60s on the beach. A hint of fall.
