Plenty of Heat...A Few Storms...
The heat and humidity stays strong over the next two days with and isolated risk for a thunderstorm today and tomorrow. Highs will stay above average reaching into the upper 80s to right around 90 on the beach and staying steady in the low to mid 90s inland.
Once the weekend rolls around, temperatures begin to drop slightly with highs returning to average. The moisture will stick around as well and with the approach of a week cold front - the threat for showers and storms will go up through the weekend with the best chance for storms working their way into the area for Sunday. The good news is that these will be afternoon storms so by the time the big race begins we should be okay. Keep the rain gear handy if your out camping this weekend.
We continue with the unsettled and wet pattern into the beginning and middle of next week but keep temperatures around average.
