Welcome home weekend to support child with Congenital Subaortic Stenosis

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – From September 4 through September 7, Myrtle Beach Bowl (formally Waccamaw Bowling Center), will host a welcome home weekend event to support Caiden, a local child diagnosed with Congenital Subaortic Stenosis.

Fifty cents from every shoe rental purchased throughout the weekend will be donated to Caiden and his family.

The community will get an opportunity to meet Caiden at a superhero themed kids’ fest and bowling blast off on Saturday. The event is free and will include one hour of bowling, shoe rental, vendor booths, crafts, games, prizes, a fire truck and fund-raising opportunities.

Myrtle Beach Bowl is located at 101 Philip Gray Dr. in Myrtle Beach.

    Florence County Sheriff deputies were responding to an assault call Friday when they discovered a victim that had been stabbed. The incident occurred on Palomar Parkway in Florence. Investigators discovered a verbal dispute had resulted in the victim being assaulted and stabbed.
