"You Know guns were pulled out, everybody running and choppers pulled out," Lacarso Quillen, who lives in Timmonsville said.
"Explain what a chopper is," WMBF News Reporter Ken Baker said.
"A chopper is like a machine gun," Quillen said.
Quillen said that’s what happened on Saturday night, outside of the Ponderosa Club.
The Florence County Sherriff's Office said one man was shot that night, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
“It was an innocent guy who got shot. He didn't have anything to do with it. Everybody's running and the next thing you know they saw him on the ground," Quillen said.
Quillen told WMBF News that she knows the victim and said he is recovering. She also said he was shot in the upper thigh.
“It was really the party across the street. They were having a party and the next thing I know some guys got into it because there was a guy in the road," Quillen said.
Quillen stated that man would not get out of the road and an argument began.
When it was all said and done, Quillen said, about 20 shell casings were on the ground.
The person who shot the victim is still out on the streets, but Quillen said she's not concerned about.
“Not really. I'm the type of person that stays to myself. When I see something going on I always leave and go home. I know when to leave,"Quillen said.
At the end of the day Quillen stated the Ponderosa Club is not a bad place.
