Family of missing Aynor teen still searching two years later

AYNOR, SC (WMBF) The family of missing Aynor teen, Zachary Malinowski's, says two years without their son is more than enough.

The family is more determined than ever though, to find the son they miss so much.

"I love him, and I miss him more and more each day, said mother Melissa Marcus. All I can ask is for someone to please come forward and help us."

On Saturday those closest to Zachary met at that same park where he was last seen two years ago.
Their hope is that by sharing their stories, good and bad, someone will come forward with something.

"We need to bring him home and bury him in peace please, said his mother. That's all we can ask as a family, and that's all we really want as a family."

The family came closer to the closure it's looking for this past December. That's when Horry County Police charged Christopher Brown and Javon Gibbs with kidnapping and murder in connection to the case.
Those closest to Malinowski say the arrests are a start, but there's something they want even more.

"You can sit there and hear as many stories as you want to, but I still feel broken inside because I don't have him, explained Malinowskis best friend Austin Crafton. I don't know where he's at. He's still laying out there somewhere."

So in one last gesture of remembrance Saturday, Malinowski's family and friends gathered and said one last plea. Then they let go of dozens of balloons, hoping they would carry their messages to Zachary.

"Just let us have our baby back, exclaimed Malinowskis grandmother.

Family members still believe someone, somewhere knows something about where Malinowski is. They ask that if you do, call Horry County Police.
