MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Not everyone was inconvenienced by Wednesday's severe storm, as a paddling of ducks (actual term for a group) paddled their way across the flooded street of a Myrtle Beach area neighborhood.
Viewer Jared Hood send us a short clip of the ducks enjoying their swim across Palmetto Point Boulevard after the storm, complete with a beautiful rainbow in the background. He says ducks commonly walk across the streets in his neighborhood, but this is the first time he's seen them swimming across them!
"Gotta love...Myrtle Beach's summer storms!" he said in a Facebook message.
Some areas in the Grand Strand and Horry County received three to six inches of rain Wednesday afternoon when a severe storm moved across the area. The storm brought lots of lightning, some power outages, and flooding to many area roads.
