MBPD: Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint during delivery

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A Domino's Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint outside a Myrtle beach apartment complex early Wednesday, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

The report says a woman named Samantha placed a pizza delivery order from Domino's  on 38th Avenue North around 1:30 a.m.

When the delivery driver pulled up to the Kingstowne Apartments off 19th Avenue North, and got out of his car, he felt someone grab the back of his shirt, pull him down and put a gun to the back of his neck.

When the driver felt the gun on his neck, the suspect told him to get on the ground, hand over all of his money and moved the gun to the side of his head.

After taking $20 from the driver's pocket, the suspect threatened to kill the driver of he didn't have more than $100, the report says.

The driver tells police he then handed the suspect a few hundred dollars and was told to get back in his car.

The victim says his debit card, $250 in cash, his phone, wallet, and personal identification documents were taken.

The driver says he was then able to get in the front of his car and drive away.

If you have any information you're asked to call Myrtle Beach police.
