“Fall Fest” will include a series of events including concerts, boardwalk marketplace, street performers and talent shows.

“2015 Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fright Nights” will be a series of scary-good events leading up to Halloween, including costume contests and concerts featuring the Blue

The Oceanfront Merchants Association will partner with the City of Myrtle Beach again to host “2015 Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fright Nights,” which will be held from October 2 through October 31 on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

“The Market Common Triathlon” will return to the Market Common area for a second year on September 27 from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

The triathlon will include closing portions of Shine Avenue, Phillis Boulevard, Huger Street, Howard Avenue, Airpark Drive, Deville Street, Reed Street and Nevers Street.

The triathlon was very successful last year and more participants are expected to be at this year’s event.

“A Southern Times Square” will be held on December 31 in the Market Common in the area adjacent to Grand 14 Theater.

The New Year’s Eve activities will include bands, beer gardens, street entertainers, a ball drop and fireworks over Grand Park.

Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 1 a.m.
