Beach Family and Urgent Care to add 3 new offices

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Within the next few months, Beach Family and Urgent Care plans to add new office locations in Carolina Forest, Surfside Beach and will move The Galleria office, to Highway 17 in the restaurant row area.

Beach Family and Urgent Care’s CEO, Ron Reynolds, MD says, the volume of patient visits is up significantly over last year’s totals and there is a need for additional primary care and specialty physicians in the Myrtle Beach area.

The Carolina Forest office, scheduled to open this winter, will be a multi-specialty clinic and offer the services of various physicians.

Scheduled to open in 2016, the Surfside Beach office will be a family practice office and urgent care center. The office will see patients based off scheduled appointments or on a walk-in basis and will offer extended hours standard to the other office locations.

The Galleria office, scheduled to open in 2016, will move to the former Oceans 17 restaurant, off Highway 17, and will also be a multi-specialty clinic.

Dr. Reynolds says, the expansion won’t change the standard of service their patients receive. “We regularly measure wait times and our patient’s perceptions of the service that we provide, and we know how important these things are to them, along with receiving the highest quality of care,” Reynolds said.

The expansion will create approximately 40 new jobs and give broad geographic coverage in the Myrtle Beach area.

We'll make it to the 90s again at the beach and the middle 90s inland. With temperatures a degree or two cooler than the last several days, no heat advisories are in effect, but the heat index will still climb to between 100 and 104. The afternoon and evening will see just a 30 percent chance of a stray shower or storm.
